In the mid 1960s, Ernie Adams (currently) of Maricopa, Arizona started “taking the design of early Classic American Cars and scaling them down to a smaller size” inspired by a dream he had. He used the steel from old refrigerators to build his first working “dwarf car” and it resembled a 1928 Chevy 2 door sedan. Over the years, he has handcrafted many miniaturized cars (using tools he’s machined himself), all from scratch and all fashioned after classic American automobiles. In the Arizona desert, he has since opened the Dwarf Car Museum to house his amazing collection.
